Dream Destinations by Heather & Joe (“Agency,” “we,” “us”) is an independently owned travel advisory business based in Michigan. We specialize in cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Caribbean and Mexico getaways, Florida theme park vacations, and travel to Hawai‘i.

The Agency operates as an independent travel advisor affiliated with Cornerstone Collective, LLC, our host agency. Through this affiliation, we access supplier booking systems, accreditation, professional resources, and back-office support. The Agency is not owned by, employed by, or controlled by any travel supplier, including cruise lines, hotels, airlines, tour operators, or destination providers.

The Agency maintains professional affiliations and training through recognized industry organizations, including but not limited to:

• Cornerstone Collective, LLC (Host Agency)
• Travel Leaders Network (Preferred Partner Network)
• Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA)
• American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA)
• VAX VacationAccess
• ALG Vacations brands (Funjet, Apple Vacations, United Vacations, Southwest Vacations, Blue Sky Tours)
• Disney Destinations & Universal Orlando Resort

As an ASTA-affiliated advisor, the Agency is committed to ethical conduct, transparency, professionalism, and responsible travel advising. Our goal is to provide accurate information, clear communication, and personalized guidance so clients can make informed travel decisions.

By working with the Agency, you agree to:

• Provide accurate traveler information (legal names, dates of birth, documentation)
• Review all invoices, confirmations, and travel documents promptly
• Notify the Agency of any errors or discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt
• Make payments by supplier deadlines
• Comply with passport, visa, health, and entry requirements
• Respond to requests for information in a timely manner

Failure to review documents or meet deadlines may result in additional costs, denied boarding, or travel disruption for which the Agency is not responsible.

The Agency charges professional planning fees for research, trip design, comparisons, recommendations, and proposal preparation. Planning fees are based on the scope and complexity of the requested services and are separate from supplier pricing.

Planning fees are non-refundable once planning has begun and may be required before travel options are presented.

Current planning fee tiers may include:

• $75 – Basic Planning (air-only or simple hotel research)
• $150 – Standard Trip Planning (cruise, all-inclusive, or typical vacation planning)
• $250 – Complex / Custom / Group Planning (multi-city itineraries, Europe, Disney, group travel, or extensive customization)

The applicable planning fee will be confirmed prior to invoicing.

Additional service-only fees may apply for execution services, including but not limited to:

• Air ticketing (air-only bookings)
• Changes or rebooking
• Cancellations assistance
• Schedule changes or irregular operations support
• Name corrections
• Hotel-only or transfer-only bookings
• Other post-booking services

Any applicable service-only fees will be disclosed and approved before invoicing or services are performed.

Payments follow supplier timelines and policies — not the Agency’s. By submitting payment information, you authorize the Agency to process payments with travel suppliers on your behalf.

Late or missed payments may result in price increases, loss of promotions, cancellation of reservations, or non-refundable penalties imposed by suppliers.

All cancellation, refund, and change policies are determined solely by the travel supplier(s). The Agency does not control supplier policies and is not responsible for supplier decisions, schedule changes, or operational issues.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Travel insurance may help protect against unexpected events such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, trip interruption, lost or delayed luggage, emergency evacuation, or supplier default.

The Agency is not an insurance provider. Travelers are responsible for deciding whether to purchase travel insurance and for understanding the terms of any policy purchased. Travelers who decline insurance assume full financial responsibility for all risks and non-refundable costs.

Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, REAL ID (for domestic flights), vaccinations, and any required health or entry documentation. No refunds will be issued for denied boarding or entry due to improper documentation.

The Agency acts solely as an intermediary between clients and travel suppliers. The Agency is not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, or defaults of any supplier, including but not limited to airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, or ground service providers.

Travel involves inherent risks. All travel is undertaken at the client’s own risk.

Prices and availability are subject to change until confirmed by the supplier and paid in full. Factors may include demand, inventory, fuel costs, taxes, and government fees.

The Agency responds during normal business hours. For urgent matters while traveling, clients should also contact the supplier’s 24/7 support line for immediate assistance and notify the Agency as soon as reasonably possible.

Client information is used solely for travel planning and booking purposes and is shared only with relevant travel suppliers and service providers. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for details.

The Agency may request permission to use client testimonials, names, images, or trip photos for marketing purposes (including social media and the Agency website). Such content will be used only with prior written consent (email, text, or explicit form authorization). Consent may be revoked for future use at any time.

If you have a concern regarding an Agency fee or charge, you agree to contact the Agency in writing and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Where permitted by law, unauthorized chargebacks for valid charges may result in reasonable administrative costs incurred by the Agency to respond to the dispute. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and the parties consent to jurisdiction and venue therein.

By booking travel services, submitting payment, or otherwise engaging the Agency, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
