Travel Planning Should Feel Personal
Dream Destinations by Heather and Joe was created to give travelers something that large booking websites cannot: real people who listen, explain the choices, and remain available when questions come up.
Cruises are our primary focus, especially family cruises, group sailings, and faith-based travel. We can also assist with resorts, all-inclusive vacations, hotels, flights, transportation, tours, and other vacation details when they are part of a client's travel plans.

Heather leads the vacation-planning side of Dream Destinations. She helps travelers compare cruise lines, ships, itineraries, cabin choices, and the many details that can make planning feel overwhelming. Her goal is to help clients understand their choices and feel prepared for their trip.
Heather especially enjoys planning cruises, family vacations, group travel, and faith-based experiences. As a Michigan wife and mom, she understands that vacation decisions involve real budgets, schedules, personalities, and family needs.

Joe works alongside Heather to support travelers and keep the planning process organized. He assists with inquiries, follow-up, group communication, reminders, and the practical details that help clients know what happens next.
As a husband-and-wife team, Heather and Joe bring different strengths to the business while sharing the same goal: helping clients enjoy travel without feeling as though they have to figure everything out alone.

The Family Behind the Business
Meet the Boensch Family
Heather and Joe have been married for 27 years and are proud to call Mid-Michigan home. Together they have a daughter, Sydney — 11 years old and heading into 6th grade — along with two beloved dogs: Midnight, their black Lab, and Baxter, their yellow Lab, who are very much part of the family.
Like a lot of families, it only took one cruise to get them completely hooked. The Caribbean quickly became their favorite destination, and what started as a love of travel eventually grew into a business built around helping other families experience that same feeling.
When Heather and Joe help you plan your trip, you're not working with a call center or a booking algorithm — you're working with a real Michigan family who has sat exactly where you're sitting, wondered which ship to choose, and come home already planning the next one.
